The scope of this standard is restricted to multichannel audio services with its stereo audio data and multichannel audio auxiliary data through the base layer and the enhancement layer of AT-DMB, respectively, among several methods of providing a multichannel audio service through AT-DMB.
This standard is composed of a summary of AT-DMB combined-layer multichannel audio services, multichannel audio signal specification, MPEG-4 content structure for an AT-DMB combined-layer multichannel audio service, synchronization method between stereo audio data in the base layer and multichannel audio auxiliary data in the enhancement layer, signaling method for the association of TSs in the two layers at MPEG-2 TS level, and signaling method for the association of service components in the two layers through FIC (Fast Information Channel) of AT-DMB system. |
