융합 웹-브라우징 (CWB:Convergence web-browsing)은 서로 다른 NGN 단말과 다양한 네트워크 환경에서 개선된 웹 브라우징 기능을 제공하며, 프로파일 기반의 컨텐츠 적응화 기능을 제공한다. 따라서 융합 웹-브라우징는 클라이언트 NGN 디바이스(즉, 웹 브라우져)에 웹 컨텐츠를 단말과 네트워크에 상관없이 효과적으로 제공할 수 있다.
본 문서에서는 아래와 같이 웹-브라우징 기능을 위한 요구사항, 웹 브라우징 제공을 위한 서비스 모델과 서비스 시나리오를 제공한다.

CWB(Convergence web-browsing) provides advanced web-browsing capabilities in different NGN devices and various network environments including profile-based content adaptation capabilities. The CWB capabilities enable client device (e.g., web browser) of NGN to browse web content effectively, regardless of device and network types. This Recommendation identifies web-browsing capability requirements, provides a functional model and service scenarios making use of converged web-browsing capabilities.
The scope of this Recommendation is targeted at the converged web-browsing capabilities in NGN with its model and service scenarios. This Recommendation covers:
 Requirements to support converged web-browsing capabilities;
 Converged web-browsing functional model;
 Converged web-browsing service scenarios.
