This standard defines a prototype service model for providing IP-VOD service with a high quality to users of very high-speed communication network at home-server/home-gateway. In this standard which is called as "Prototype model for IP STB streaming service", we define a software technology that is able to provide various kinds of multimedia streaming services from exterior streaming servers, followed by the connection with the exterior access network in home network.
