This standard is based on EPUB 2 standards and narrows them down, and gives details on some ambiguous sections by providing sample details of eBooks to help authors in the way of actual content authoring. Those details include how to apply the container format instructions, the metadata instructions, the configuration of logical structure, the instructions to take advantage of the content element, difference between EPUB 2.01 and 3.0, new features and changed features at EPUB 3.
