This standard describes requirements for test equipment for functional testing such as the ship status information simulation/inspection, analog sound simulation/analysis, and image simulation/inspection function for VDR. The procedures and results for the functional test method of the VDR are based on the international standard of IEC 61996-1.
The simulation equipment of the functional test equipment can simulate ship position, speed, heading, the depth of water, alarm, AIS, audio frequency response for Bridge audio, quality index for Bridge audio, signal noise level, colour errors, position errors, etc. and provides the function to test whether the continuous output is possible for more than 48 hours. This standard presents interface requirements for detailed information simulation. |
