This specification provides the definition of an Atomic Transaction coordination type
used to coordinate activities having an "all or nothing" property. Atomic transactions commonly require a high level of trust between participants and are short in duration. WS-AtomicTransaction defines protocols that enable existing transaction processing systems to wrap their proprietary protocols and interoperate across different hardware and software vendors. |
