한글 내용요약

이 표준 제정의 목적은 일반 조직이 체계적이고 효율적으로 정보보호를 관리할 수 있도록 공통적으로 적용할 수 있는 표준 모델을 제시하는데 있다. 이 분야에 대한 국제표준이 제정되고 있으나 국내에 그대로 적용하기에는 국내의 환경이 많이 다르므로, 국제적인 표준을 수용하면서 국내의 상황을 반영한 표준을 제시하고자 한다. 국내뿐 아니라 일부의 국가에서는 이미 자국내의 조직을 위한 표준안을 제정하여 활용하고 있다. 따라서 이 표준을 제정하여 국내의 일반 조직이 정보보호관리체계를 효율적으로 수립하고 운영하는데 기여하고자 한다. 향후 이 표준안에서 기술된 프로세스와 방법론에 대해서는 별도의 상세한 표준 모델을 제시할 예정이다.

영문 내용요약

The purpose of this standard is to suggest standard model with which the commercial organization can manage information security management system systematically and effectively. Though international standard has been established, it is not appropriate to apply that standard for national circumstances without changes, due to the difference. Therefore adopting international standard and modifying it with respect to national circumstance should be necessary. In addition to Korea, the other countries have already established such standard and made use of it. The intent of establishing this standard is to help the commercial organizations to implement and provides guidance on how to secure an information system and the management framework.
