To achieve Internet-based low-power networking in Internet of things, analysis on use-cases of applications and services is required; for instance, there are secure transfer by using NFC, smart home in ITU-T G.9959, smartphone-based interaction with constrained devices with Bluetooth Low Energy as potential technologies. Therefore, the standard describes use-cases for applications and services of each low-power networking technologies.
