To define the requirements and functional architecture for the open USN service platform, Clause 5 describes the concept and characteristics of the open USN service and Clause 6 derives the requirements for the open USN service platform. Base on Clause 5 and Clause 6, the functional architecture and functional entities of the open USN service platform are specified in Clause 7.
