본 표준은 다양한 스토리지를 연합하여 스토리지 사용의 편의성을 높이는 데이터 스토리지 페더레이션의 개념을 소개한다. 데이터 스토리지 페더레이션 실행을 위해 5개의 구성 요소(Logical component)를 제시한다. 먼저 데이터 스토리지 페더레이션 생태계에서 역할(Role), 부역할(Sub-role), 활동(Activity)을 제시한 후, 이를 클라우드 컴퓨팅 기반 데이터 스토리지 페더레이션 시스템 구성 정보와 매핑(Mapping)한다. 총 12개의 유스케이스를 통해 기능 요구사항을 도출하였으며, 이를 총 4 부분의 기능 요구사항으로 구분하여 제공한다. |

The standard introduces the concept of data storage federation that federates various storages to improve storage usability. 5 logical components to run data storage federation are presented. The data storage federation ecosystem is illustrated with roles, sub-role, and activity, and then maps them onto cloud computing-based data storage federation system context. A total of 12 use cases are used to derive functional requirements, which are divided into 4 parts of functional requirements.
