The purpose of this standard introduces the scope of technology using the wide area wireless communication system. And then it defines general requirement and performance requirement of the wide area wireless communication system which supports the scope of technology.
The standard describes mainly the scope of technology are supported by the multi-hop vehicle-to-vehicle communications such as the various connecting technologies of wireless communication, Multi-point communication, Ipv6 mobile wireless communication, Internet access, Vehicle-to-vehicle communication. And then it also describes general requirements and performance requirements of vehicle-to-vehicle communication systems for information service and the group communications service, etc. |
