소프트웨어 및 시스템 프로세스 공학 메타모델(SPEM)은 프로세스 공학 메타모델이자
일종의 개념적 프레임워크(conceptual framework) 즉, 개발 메서드 혹은 프로세스의 설
계(modeling), 문서화, 표기(presenting), 관리, 상호교환 및 집행(enactment)을 위한 필
수 개념 집합이다. 본 메타모델 구현의 주요 이해당사자는 개별적인 프로젝트 혹은 개발
조직에서 프로세스를 관리하고 구현하는 책임이 있는 ‘프로세스 엔지니어’, ‘프로젝트 책
임자(leaders)’, ‘프로젝트/프로그램 관리자이다. 본 표준의 주요 특징은 다음과 같다.
l ‘메서드 정의’와 ‘정의된 메서드의 개발 프로세스 적용’ 간의 명확한 분리
l 다양한 개발 프로세스의 일관된 유지보수
l 다양한 생명주기 모형의 반영
l 유연한 프로세스 가변성(variability)과 확장성(extensibility) 플러그인 메커니즘
l 신속한 프로세스 조립을 위한 베스트프랙티스의 재사용 가능한 프로세스 패턴
l 캡슐화 원리를 실현한 대체 및 재사용 가능한 프로세스 컴포넌트

영문 내용요약

The Software and Systems Process Engineering Meta-model (SPEM) is a process
engineering meta-model as well as conceptual framework, which can provide the
necessary concepts for modeling, documenting, presenting, managing, interchanging,
and enacting development methods and processes. An implementation of this metamodel
would be targeted at process engineers, project leads, project and program
managers who are responsible for maintaining and implementing processes for their
development organizations or individual projects. The key features as follows;
l Clear separation of method content definitions from the development process

l Many different lifecycle models
l Many different lifecycle models
l Flexible process variability and extensibility plug-in mechanism
l Reusable process patterns of best practices for rapid process assembly
l Replaceable and reusable Process Components realizing the principles of
