This technical report defines terms relevant to the performance improvement reference model for task scheduling of multi-core smart devices; it then describes the model itself. To do this, it first shows the previous task scheduling model and its limits; then, the report explains the new reference model and shows how it can provide enhanced performance of smart devices with the efficient utilization of multi-core.
