This standard provides a reference model for software infrastructure for distributed safety-critical system with multi-core processors. This reference model consists of two major subsystems ? real-time operating system support for multi-core processors, and distributed middleware support for synchronized execution of distributed tasks and fault tolerant execution of tasks.
