이 표준은 안전성 지원 다중 코어 기반 분산 소프트웨어 플랫폼에서의 분산 SW의 개발 및 검증을 용이하게 하는 논리적 동기화 기술을 지원하기 위한 노드 간 공통 메시지 규격 및 교환 방식에 대해 제안한다. 다중 코어 지원 안전우선 분산 소프트웨어 플랫폼에서의 응용 프로그램은 검증이 필수적이다. 분산 환경에서는 분산 태스크 간 지연, jitter 등의 영향으로 검증 복잡도가 기하급수적으로 증가하게 된다. 이러한 비용과 복잡도를 감소시키기 위하여 PALS 기반의 논리적 시간 동기화가 요구된다. 5장에서는 실시간 운영체제에서 동작하는 논리 동기화 방식에 대한 설명하였고, 논리 동기화 지원을 위해 교환 되어야 할 정보에 대한 정의를 하였다. 6장에서는 시스템 내부에서 교환되는 메시지 방식 및 시스템간 메시지 교환 방식에 대해 정의한다. |

The standard describes message format and signaling of logical time synchronization for distributed embedded systems. Legacy real-time and embedded systems have been small scale and standalone. However, they are increasingly being connected to create large-scale distributed system recently. But the verification complexity increases in practice as several factors such as delay, jitter and error. An equivalent synchronized execution of distributed tasks are required in distributed real-time system. Our method is based on the PALS which is a complexity-reducing architectural pattern for distributed real-time systems. Section 5 describes reference model for message format. In the section 7, the reference model for signaling and APIs for logical time synchronization
