This document provides a generic Framework and Methodology for Interoperability Testing(IOPT). This draft permits to achieve interoperability in working environments by determining the cause of inter-working problems and seeking workarounds, regardless of whether participating implementations passed conformance test. In order to promote interoperability of Information Technology and Telecommunications (IT&T) products developed according to the protocol Recommendations, an interoperability testing framework and methodology is required.
