영문 내용요약

This Technical Report analyzes recent technology development and standardization works on the open interworking and control in wireless heterogeneous networks that will assure interoperability among multi-vender devices and network equipment and also provide optimized seamless connection between user’s devices and various access networks according to user’s demands or network conditions. This technical report analyzes technologies and requirements for open interworking of wireless heterogeneous networks in IEEE 802 and ITU-T, and then discusses future works on standards for open interworking of wireless heterogeneous networks. The Technical Report analyzes open interworking and control technologies of wireless heterogeneous networks based on the related standards, recommendations, and reports of IEEE 802 and ITU-T.
